Designer spotlight...

OKI Sato, founder of Nendo sits on the topof my list for product designer at the moment, just love the way he breaks down everyday object to its basic form and yet providing comfort, functionality and elegance with just the right amount of balance.

Muji...

Finally... MUJI is coming to town. Yay!!!

I've been an aren't fan of MUJI since my student days in the UK. MUJI is the whole package, it's not just about the design, somehow they have managed to create a whole lifestyle with their products. Their have everything you can imagine of, food, furniture, stationery, bath, bedding, bath, home and the list goes on...

Even attempted to bring it in about 12 years ago.
Back then, MUJI required for their subsidiary to be in the country before they will bring it in. So no go...
Nevertheless I'm just glad that they will be here soon, and will not need to pop over to Singapore to get my MUJI fix. :)

It will be opening in PAVILION sometime next month.

Love it for it's simplicity, clean lines and functional design. Will definitely making a bee line for it.
