Apartment in Singapore...

A 250sqm apartment in the heart of Singapore by Shanghai base architects Neri&Hu.

Challenged by the owner to go for something different, and to create the unconventional, Neri&Hu transformed the spatial quality totally by having the private space in the core while leaving a perimeter all around the floor plate allowing an all round  circulation while giving the space a light and airy feel.

Understated Elegance...

A project by Kengo Kuma for a hotel in Kyoto. A beautiful space, minimal yet exudes the feeling of warmth.  It was done as a model room for a hotel. Not sure if it is built. Will definitely stay there on my next visit if it is :)

 Love the bathroom space...

excerpt from architects :
In each project, we seek to uncover an inherent spirit of place and interpret constraints as catalysts for performative design. The individual character of each project emerges through poetic spatial relationships, material richness, and exacting detail.
