Muji...

Finally... MUJI is coming to town. Yay!!!

I've been an aren't fan of MUJI since my student days in the UK. MUJI is the whole package, it's not just about the design, somehow they have managed to create a whole lifestyle with their products. Their have everything you can imagine of, food, furniture, stationery, bath, bedding, bath, home and the list goes on...

Even attempted to bring it in about 12 years ago.
Back then, MUJI required for their subsidiary to be in the country before they will bring it in. So no go...
Nevertheless I'm just glad that they will be here soon, and will not need to pop over to Singapore to get my MUJI fix. :)

It will be opening in PAVILION sometime next month.

Love it for it's simplicity, clean lines and functional design. Will definitely making a bee line for it.

Perk up Mondays...

Some cute stationeries from two korean stationers with an eye for design and cuteness...Millimeter Milligram and Jstory.
Found through Sally J Shim's blog. Which i'm totally devouring on this gloomy monday. She'salso  the designer behind Shim and Sons which specialises in paper goods and home accessories. Totally hooked.

Do check out her blog for some great reads and inspiring designs on paper goods and more stuffs on her life and travels and her two very cute boys.

Love the characters from Jstory, too cute and quirky.
